all you little wanna bes out there crying cause it dont look good or it sucks etc etc need to realize…this is art. not copy and paste. art is how the piece becomes reality through the eyes and talents of the artist.
get over yourselves. if you dont like it dont say it sucks cause its really insulting. just express your views on the art and move on like a big boy. not insult the artist like a little child holding his yang yang doin the pee pee dance.

Honestly, it’s not so good. Why? Because there really is no contrast between fire flame and the black color. You need to leave more black color, son. I can tell you are not confident with painting the tip of the flame. That’s why you just make the whole thing so big. You need more practice on painting the “WING of the FIRE”, son.

Great job! For those that don’t like it. You need to accept the fact that everyone has their own style. Mine differ from this, which differ from Ed Hubbs, which differ from Lavallee, which differ from Rick Primeau.

i really enjoyed watching this. those were some of the most detailed flames ive seen in a video so far. they actually looked like fire instead of individual flames like you see on old hot rods and what not. i agree, those were done the right way :D

Obviously… Mike Lavalee’s true fire is WAY better.. but it is okay. if you have the video which i think you do… you should really pay more attention to the amount of times he uses the darkest red and how many times he tints it back again with the orange. It looks more realistic the more times you do this step.
